Hello, The Black Legged Kittiwake was still in Port at around 3:30 this afternoon. Yes, I ditched work early. Didn't want to miss an opportunity for a county bird. I found it straight south from the Gazebo in the channel out to the lake. I parked in the lot behind the Holiday Inn. It was flying around when I initially located it and then it landed on the water. Great looks. No scope necessary but really nice close looks using it. Beautiful bird! i ddidn't spend a lot of time scoping the rest of the gulls but did note a nice Glaucous Gull on the breakwall.
