While out at the landfill, an engineer stopped by to talk. He asked if I would stop by the office and let them know that I would be birding along the road. Also that I make sure I'm parked off the road . The people here are very nice. While gull watching, I had a second year Lesser Black-backed Gull. This gull had very little of it's tail left. Although I had some other intriguing gulls, that was the only non Herring or Ring-billed I identified. Lake Waubesa can have hundreds of gulls this time of year. Getting them close enough and in good light is another thing.
