[wisb] Blind Bird

I captured a House Finch in my back yard today. Actually I just reached down
and picked him up. He seems to be healthy except for one thing. He cannot open
his eyes! I think this is the same bird I saw last week that seemed to very
lethargic.He would sit on the edge of the birdbath and would not fly unless I
got very close.
I have attached a couple of pictures from last week when he could fly. However,
I just noticed that this one looks like a female and the captured one looks
like a Male.
Any ideas?
