I am missing about 15 warblers, 5 flycatchers, 20 shorebirds and about 5 sparrows from my list this year which I doubt I have much of a chance of seeing. Stupid finals during peak of migration really messes up your year list! Luckily the Screech owls came to me and made the cats aware of their presence by sitting next to a window so I could be alerted. And, come Jan. 1, if they were successful or not?
