The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has opened up registration for nine
Summer and Fall workshops at its marvelous Field Station at the Cedarburg Bog
in Ozaukee County. Topics will be of particular interest to the outdoor-minded
and particularly to birders. Vicki Piaskowski will teach the Bird Migration
class this fall. These workshops offer an opportunity to study focused topics
at college-level under the guidance of experts. There are one-day, two-day and
week-long workshops, and housing and meals are available at the Station.
Enrollment is limited to 20, the atmosphere is informal and instruction is
individualized. All workshops can be taken for continuing education credits,
and some are available for college credit.
