I took a chance this afternoon, after Greg's report, and headed over to
Birch Rd. to try for the A. Golden Plovers and other birds that he reported.
The field still has some water, but just in a few places, so I was glad to
see that at least 3 of the A. Golden Plovers were still present. They were
working the mudflat/corn stubble area about halfway down Hilltop View Rd. As
Greg reported, there were a number of Greater and a few Lesser Yellowlegs,
plus some Bonaparte's Gulls.

Yesterday morning I went to the pond along Birch Rd off CTH J nr Hustisford.
There were at least 4 A. golden plovers, many G yellowlegs, a few L
yellowlegs, and killdeer. Also many Bonaparte's gulls.
