[windows2000] urgent: windows 200 print services disappeared

chaps, urgent issue.
Rebooted our print server yesterday evening and all seemed ok.
This morning print spooler had crashed. On restarting, all of the printers
installed had disappeared.
any advice on how to retrive/restore or relocate
