As the IT Mangler for a start-up, many of my (l)users complaint that the
update process takes too long, causes too many reboots, etc. There fore
they are not doing these updates, as mandated.

Is there a way to 'push' the updates from a centralized server to the
machines?

I am running a mix of Win2k Pro and XP Pro, suggestions and comments
would be greatly appreciated.

Set up an SUS server and configure the workstations auto-updater (in the control panel) to download automatically.

What's keeping you from getting more from your terminal servers? Did you know, in
most cases, CPU Utilization IS NOT the single biggest constraint to scaling up?!
Get this free white paper to understand the real constraints & how to overcome
them. SAVE MONEY by scaling-up rather than buying more servers.
