From what I understand (and again it probably depends on the = manufacturer) is that Rack mounted servers are made to stack on top of = one another, and will not cool as well any other way. This does sound = illogical (but it is what I heard) so I would do some research into your = server manufacturers and see what they say. If you find anything out, = please share it with us.
