No kidding. I still have my old contact lists from the early and mid-90s to present... I attempt to add a contact and that contact already exists. Uhmmmmm.... OK! I deal with fewer people than I think. BTW, which Outlook groups? I'm constantly on the prowl for more groups and lists to either hinder or help with my presence.
