Am I doing something wrong... or were the old posts all invalid
parameters? :P

I'm an ass.  That was when I took off a couple of days from work to
build a new computer and install W2K on Feb 17, 2000 when it came out.
I booted my computer with the hard drive sitting on the metal case.
Since then, I mirror and backup at home.  ;]
