Hi Jim,

Thanks for the information. I have run into another problem. This is the issue.

1: We want to enable roaming profile for staff.

2: We want to setup outlook for all staff  with a prf  file.

Problem, Roaming profile has been created and My Document, start menu and
desktop re-directed, however once a user logs in, the prf frile creates an
outlook profile. If that user logs off and back in, another profile is created
for him. Now I am having users with multiple outlook profiles. Not sure if this
is being caused by the application folder being re-directed.

You could probably just get away with renaming their ntuser.man files in their
profile to ntuser.dat and that should do it assuming they already have profile
folders set up. If you have to bulk change the profiles the tool to use is
Admodify.net  here is a link to a pretty good article on that one along with a
link to download it

Download admodify from
http://www.codeplex.com/admodify/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=6065

Use the %userprofile% %username% etc designations

Hi Guys,

I am sure this is easy, but just seeking suggestions. We have about 220 staff
who currently use a mandatory profile, but for some reason it has been agreed
that we should move to roaming profiles. Just wondering the best way to go
about this.

We currently redirect My documents folder, and startup and desktop menus are
part of the mandatory profiles, bout would need to be redirected. Just need
tips on the easiest way to move 220 staff to roaming profile.

Thanks

Patrick
