Well, I wouldn't say he's evil in a malicious sense, the guy gives more
to charity than some countries GDP. I'm not saying he's a bad person or
I wouldn't drink a beer with him (if I liked beer). It's mostly just
that he's incredibly ruthless, totally determined, and doesn't let the
little things get in his way. (Like crushing other companies, the
government, whether something is legal, etc.) Basically he has a
"whatever it takes to win, no matter the cost" attitude, which, while
very American, can be a problem on a macro scale in corporate republic
like we currently have. *shrug* Of course I don't really have a
recommendation for a better system, and most of the other ones I've
personally visited are worse. Sorry, getting way off topic here, I'm a
sucker for politics.

Well, you have to admit he plays serious hardball with his business
tactics. Microsoft has a blatant monopoly, and they've pretty much
bribed their way out of the whole mess. I still feel they should have
broken up the company, at least into seperate OS and Office units. That
would have gone a long way towards reducing the lock in issue.
