I guess what i need to figure out now is the direction to go after this. Like what to do with DNS, WINS, etc.... I know WINS has to be pretty bulletproof as we need it working for both our 9x boxes and our Meditech system (as we are going to be moving to DHCP). Any pointers anyone can give me now :) -----Original Message----- From: Sullivan, Glenn [mailto:GSullivan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, September 05, 2003 10:31 AM To: 'windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [windows2000] Re: Active directory conversions Perfect. That is the "Swing" method, because you are swinging your account database over to a temporary server, and then swinging it back. Right now I have the temp box setup as a NT4.0 BDC. I have 6 servers I need to bring into this newly formed W2k AD structure when all is said and done. ********************************************************** To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/win2000list.cfm ********************************************************** To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/win2000list.cfm ********************************************************** To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/win2000list.cfm
