Help with setting up a Shoutcast server behind a router

hi,
if you are behind a router and you wish to set-up your computer to become a
shoutcast server, what you need to do is, make a port
forwarding from your router to your computer. e.g. if your shoutcast-DNAS have
set to port 8000, you will need to forward port 8000
and 8001 to your computer. another thing, please asign a static IP on your
computer, you cannot use the auto asign IP feature as the
IP will change each time your computer restart.

Mine's a decline. cause my room mate and I use Jaws. so we have to be in
sepret rooms. I was thinking of going into broad casting. But will it be
harder if you are behind a Router? I'm carrying it!
