Hi Canice,
Is there a reason besides the hiring that you are looking to rename the
titles? In my experience, titles are just that. If you spell out the
duties in the job posting/job description that usually suffices. The issue
is that there's still no standard as to what a Producer/Web
Producer/Technical Producer does. Some companies it's one thing, and at
others it's something else. So when trying to compare compensation, it's
hard because not everyone defines the job the same.
That said, your groups' tasks do align with "Producer" in general.
