[webproducers] Re: Salary Survey Results- $60k/year

Funny, they still seem REALLY high to me, at least for the
economy in my geographical area (Albany NY, upstate NY). I would
be stunned to see a producer job much higher than $55k. But then,
all salaries are way down and the cost of living is excellent
here too.=20

But then - there are many definitions of what a producer is and
does, I would imagine, right? I wonder what definition they used
in their survey?

Yes they have.  Were they inflated to begin with?  Yes.  However,

salary pendulum has swung far in the other direction just because

can.  Salaries are down and are going to remain there until

elusive up turn happens or the race to the bottom is over and all

work has gone off-shore.
