The kernel DPC (Defered Procedure Calls) level, where the completion routines
are called in, is higher as any kernel or user thread so should have a *much*
better timing as user mode threads.

Not yet, I am mainly focused on ASIO at the moment (and happy that Sonar 2.2 
also
supports this) but will try later with DirectKS ans Sonar.

The way I see the current situation (from the users point of view) is that MME 
is ok
for playing back mp3's and that everybody who wants to do more uses ASIO.
