Hi, All information is welcome - success and failure both. As a strategy for training, I'd do the following: 1 - Define all the controls for track strip 1 (i.e. its knob, fader, mute, solo, etc. buttons; 2 - Ignore the other track strips and define the other buttons on the surface; 3 - Attempt to define the controls for track strips 2 onwards. I suspect that this is where you might hit trouble. Once we get to this point we'll probably use a MIDI monitor program to dissect the messages for controls that indicate duplication. Best wishes. Just a question, it seems that after having successfully learned 7 or 8 buttons, no further messages can be learned because the different knobs and buttons are said to use the same midi message. Should i note down even those buttons that are learned successfully? If not, i have a file with the error messages of the buttons i have defined, if that file suffices i can send it to you right away, if not, i’ll start all over again. /Krister > 18 aug 2014 kl. 17:40 skrev Tim Burgess <tim@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>: > > OK, > > I'd really like you to keep a note of each button you press, in order - this > is a drag, but will help the debugging process enormously.
