so sorry for laughing but you see how easy it is to make a mistake, I'm full of mistakes.

when I do that Eleanor it just gives me the spelling options, what I have discovered is that when I go to type in the word Joe's after I've typed the letter e i then have to right arrow to get the punctuation menu up.

It is not a Talks issue. It is a learning curve and that is what the list is here for Susan. Like I say press the number 1 key after the word. Select The 77th silent option down. When you press the s after the punctuation you will get or0hear p announced. Arrow down again until you hear s and select it. Before anyone corrects of I meant to write seventh option and not 77! -original message-

Susan,

Let's hope not but it may be a Talks issue but let's not go down that road yet!

Have you shown it to anyone else (a family member perhaps) to see what they think and then you might get a better idea if it's a Talks-related issue or not.

no I wouldn't have thought so,

knowing me it's probably some thing simple and I'm doing some thing wrong, but i won't let it get the better of me.

 thanks tony
