You are right then Mike it is that way that the drop-down window does come up. Now I have Talks Standard but remember this is a C5 phone which forgive me but this is not meant in a bad way, is more modern that your one. When I say more mordern I mean that I understand Symbian is slightly different. If you have ever seen an e72 it is similar. Anyway this drop-down window does indeed come up and there is much punctuation but Talks standard does not read all of them. That is strange. I need to find someone with a Talks Premium and a C5 so I can get them to test out this predictive text and punctuation to see if Talks will read out all the punctuation then. The latest release of Talks notes says that Talks 5.2 is fully compatable with C5 so it should work. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Meaney" <mikemean@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Elenor what I meant to say is, when you hit the full stop keep hitting the star and you should get the punctuation you need. However if I press the number 1followed by the * on my C5 (incidentally the same phone as Susan) I get the drop-down menu and have to arrow down through the punctuation options. Someof these are not spoken by Talks. I am perplexed by what Susan says reusing the right arrow to make her choice of punctuation as I am unable to dothis on my C5 and yes the punctuation window just opens down like the wordoptions in predictive text. Well each to his own but thanks for that brilltip. In all the years I have used Talks and been on both Talks lists and even another phone list for the blind, never heard that one before.----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Meaney" <mikemean@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <vip_students@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, February 26, 2011 10:59 AM Subject: [vip_students] Re: mobile corner, question markThat's good Susan. When you hit the full stop then just hit the star key and you'll come acrosscomma questionmark exclamation mark and so on, when you find what you wantjust continue on writing. Hope this helps. Give it a shot,.
