[vicsireland] Some Android questions

Hi folks,
I’m wondering if many on the list are Android users?
I’m currently using the iPhone 3S, and must eventually decide whether to
switch to the 4S, or go down the Android route.
I’d like to take advantage of SIRI, or it’s Android equivalent, Google Now.
I found chatting to Kiri Doyle and Martin O’Sullivan at the VICS AGM, very
informative, but some additional questions come to mind.
Perhaps experienced Android users could throw some light on the following?
· Does Android have an equivalent to screen curtain?
· Is there a way of muting speech?
· Can a letter be pronounced phonetically, before being entered in an
email or text message?
· Whitch handsets are commonnly used?
Any thoughts will be much appreciated.
