Flor,
So the saving of a c.s.v. address book file is useless?

Gerry,

Outlook 2013 won't allow import from Outlook Express or older email clients. You'd have to get hold of another version of Outlook, Windows Mail, or of Windows Live Mail, to do the export/import so that Outlook 2013 will recognise the files.

Hi Maureen,

you can export outlook express address books, messages etc by selecting the
file menu in outlook express and selecting the export option. There are
several options in a sub menu which can be selected and using the screen
wizard you can save the files for export to your documents folder and then
copy them onto a memory stick so that you can import them into the mail
program on the new machine. I've done it and I'm no genius. give me a call
Gerry

Hi there! is it possible to migrate Outlook Express files to a new machine
with Outlook 2013? In theory it should be possible but in practice not so,
(at least easily) as Microsoft have blocked all downloads to XP. Any help
welcome and I thank you in advance for wrecking your brains.

Maureen.
