Hi Joan Ann and Paul,Thanks very much for your help. Problem sorted. Would either of ye know how this problem started, because it only started a couple of days ago? Could I have knocked off a setting or something? Just so I'll know for future reference. Thanks again.

Hi Roslyn This used to happen to me with the n70 too. When in the to field, try pressing the talks key twice which will bring you into the edit menu and make sure that number mode is selected, rather than alfa mode. Joan Ann. You know when you go into write a new message, youcan put in the mobile number of the person you are sending it to. Without going into add recipient? Well today when I go to insert the number myselftalks just calls out (space, t, p) instead of 087, as if I were actuallywriting a message. I'm sure I am in the To: box and not the Edit: box. Itried writing in the message first and then going back and putting in thenumber, this didn't work either. It's quite annoying because it's quickerto just put in the number if you know it rather than going into addrecipient, I think. Also now if I don't have a number in my contacts I haveto put it in as I can't just type in the number. This only started happening today, I usually would just type in the number. Any ideas? Roslyn
