I mean, there is! always an option of a bluetooth keyboard, but I really don't wanna lug around a keyboard, as that takes the portable out of the mobile device. Yeah, I know you can get keyboards the size of the palm of your hand. I actually have one that works very very well. The only issue with it is, my fingers are not the most sensitive, so for me, plus, I have fairly big hands, so this is not a very doable option unless it be a very last resort.
This is one of the very few reasons that I've chosen to stick with my IPhone/IPad for any productive work. I love Android worth a passion, and I'd absolutely kill! to use it full time, but, if this issue is renderring me, then, I'm sorry, but I can't do that yet, until a keyboard is found that'll let me do the flick+double tap method.

I've asked about this time after time after time again, and I've never gotten a single response as to why this can't be, or hasn'tbeen, made doable. I know a lot of people prefer the touch type method, butdue to dexterity issues, I can! do it, but only barely, and after about 2 minutes, literally speaking of doing so, my hand and upper forearm hurts excrutiatingly! I know you move your wrist, not! your arm, especially not your upper bicept area, but with my dexterity issue, I can't very easily move my wrist without moving my arm as well. It's not a matter of jsutpractice and don't do it. It's a matter I physically clinically can't do itany other way. What I would like to know is can you text putting your finger on the letter and when you lift your finger the letter goes in or do you have to put your finger on theletter once you find the one you want and double tap. Double tapping onthe letter once you have found it is called standard typing.touch typing you just put your finger on the letter and lift it off which is quicker. does android have the touch typing option?.To post to the list, simply send email to vi-android@xxxxxxxxxxxxx.
