Hi Ayoola,

Android 4.1.2 is one of the versions on which Talkback works relatively well, but frankly it's out of date. Later versions of android work better with Talkback. Version 4.3, for instance gives the ability to custom label buttons. You can also do text selection with later Android versions. Your brother need not fear not only switching to Android but also switching phone brands if he can't get a Nokia phone with the latest Android. If Android were not very accessible, there would be much fewer of us using it, so your brother doesn't need to worry that he will not be able to use his phone accessibly on Android. Unless he has a need that only the Symbion OS and his current screen reader can fill, he should be able to switch without any problems. that being said, I found Android 4.1.2 quite usable when I was running it.

If you have any specific questions about anything that your brother needs to do and whether android can do the same thing, by all means feel free to ask here. We're all happy to help out.

Tony

Hello friends,

No matter what you say or do, you just won't succeed at taking some

And so guys, I'm asking again a question I've asked before. Please
will Talkback work on Nokia's X series running Android 4.1.2 - Nokia
X, Nokia XL and Nokia X+?

I need to know because my brother wants to drop his Nokia C5 but has
refused to settle for any Samsung or other brands running Android.

Thank you guys.
