[vi-android] Hello, new member and a question about apps

Hi,
This is Glenn, I may be on other lists with some of you.
I just bought a used Galaxy S3 to play with, as I use an iPhone, but I need 
to know Android so I can teach my clients.
I'm a counselor for the Blind, in Nebraska.

I'm wondering which of the "Blindness Apps" are considered to be the best?
I want to get a GPS app, but since I won't be putting cellular onto it, I 
need a GPS app that puts its maps onto the device, like Navigon.
Is Navigon considered the best of those which you download the maps?
On my iPhone I mostly use Ariadne GPS, but this won't work without cellular 
or WIFI.
I will be connecting to WIFI for downloading things like apps and cloud 
stuff.
