I have a male orchard oriole visiting my hummer feeder on a regular basis. The
feeder is an upright type, with four feeding stations and perches by each
station.
The oriole, or a relative, was here in the past. As a result, I modified the
hummer feeder to accommodate the oriole. On one of the stations, I removed the
"flower" and drilled the access hole slightly larger. I offset the perches
from directly in front of the holes to give the oriole more space to stretch
out when feeding.
I have not seen a female Orchard Oriole, though I suspect one is about. Good
birding......Tom
