I had one person question my comment about the Roanoke Valley Bird Club's
April 17 sighting of the orchard oriole being "the first VA sighting" so I
wanted to clarify that I meant for 2004. Turns out someone else had already
reported one for that same day anyway, but it was still about a week early
for our area.
