[Va-bird] Cooper's Hawk

Hi Birders,

Just watched an adult Cooper's swoop into my yard and grab an American Goldfinch from inside the caged bird feeder. After a few seconds the Coop let the bird go and it fell to the ground where the Coop once again pounced until it stilled and off the hawk went, breakfast in the talons.
