A whirlwind trip through Chincoteague on Thursday netted me some fun birds --
and hopefully more birds on a longer outing Friday. Here are some pix of the
swans, ducks (mergansers, ruddy, black, & more), a brown thrasher, greater
yellowlegs, yellow-rumped warblers & more. (At the MD end of Assateague, I
photographed a cardinal convention of about 20 of them snagging good eats on
