[Umpqua Birds] Unusual location for American White Pelican

Single bird was seen on the South Umpqua just west of milepost 15 east
of Canyonville. When I mentioned an unusual sighting, son said he had
seen what he thought was a pelican on Monday in the same location, so
it's been there at least three days. I hope it's not in trouble.
In over 16 years here, I've never before seen one in the area.
