Hi all, The Conservative’s statement today that they are considering introducing back-to-work legislation (big surprise) for CP Teamsters had me thinking. Is there any research interviewing or surveying workers after back-to-work legislation has been used? I’m curious if there is evidence that the implications of back-to-work legislation are detrimental to workplace morale/bargaining. It would be interesting to know some of the longer term implications of this draconian legislative tactic.
