I'm starting to play with my new eprom programmer (an MCUmall GQ-4X) and want to make some new kernal roms and other roms for some of my machines ;-) At last night's TPUG meeting there was mention of the ROMS in the original C64... well, they are 24-pin "2364"-type roms. Normally to burn a replacement ROM you would use a 2764 EPROM, which is a 28-pin chip, and you would need an adapter. But, you can also use a motorola 68764 eprom which is a direct replacement 24-pin chip. Unfortunately it seems my new burner doesn't (yet) support that chip, so I will need an adapter. Also, the person at the meeting with the EPROM adapter boards from ebay, would you have an item# or storename of where you got them? I looked and can't find anything. I also googled for non-ebay sources without luck... And lastly, does anyone know of a good place to get blank eproms? 2764 or 27128. Thanks, Steve
