4th Annual Dragonfly Day at Warriors Path State Park
Kingsport TN
Saturday June 21, 2014
9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
This is an all day workshop and field trip, led and organized by Park
Naturalist Marty Silver, co-led by Richard Connors and Larry Everett, and
sponsored by Warriors Path SP and TN State Parks. The day will begin with
classroom introduction to Odonates, including lecture by Larry Everett
on the seldom-seen larval, aquatic stage of these insects, Larry is
an expert in this area.
Field identification and photography is covered with practice in the field.
Several habitats around the Park will be visited during the day
and afternoon.
