March 30, 2010, on the ORNL campus in Roane Co., 16:45-17:30 EDT, 63F. 1. One Checkered White (dorsal and ventral photos). If verified, this would be a BAMONA record for Roane County. 2. One Colias sp. (photo). If this is a Clouded Sulphur, it would be a BAMONA record for Roane County. Is there enough here for a confident ID? Judges? 3. Six Azure sp. (photo). Recalling the exhortation to obtain "very sharp, up-close photos" of any Azure spp candidates for BAMONA, I crawled into the mud in photographic pursuit of this individual. If it turns out to be identifiable as a Spring Azure, it would be a BAMONA record for Roane County. Doug Bruce Oak Ridge
