Hi folks,

I had a few first of season observations today:
Black-and-white Warbler at Tremont (BLount County)
Broad-winged Hawk (I-40 in Sevier county, about 5 miles east of Knox)
Barn Swallows (I-40 in Greene County, apparently nesting in a
drainage tube under a bridge.
Barn Owl - at the VA theater in Johnson City. TONS of pellets
around, and we heard young. Got to introduce the birds and the
concept of pellets to a bunch of kids at the daycare next door. They
helped us collect pellets. Lots of fun

Charlie
