May 18, 2011 Shelby Bottoms Nashville, Davidson Co To get to the area the Swainson's Warbler was seen, park at the Forrest Green Drive trail entrance. Take the paved trail from the parking lot (you can go straight or left, both will take you the right way) along the river until you come to the pedestrian bridge. Continue past the bridge, then over a small bridge over a creek. You will then come to an unpaved trail on the right, and this is where the bird was found. I was able to hear it from quite a distance away, and was able to get nice views after following it around for around 30 minutes. The TOS website has good directions to the Forrest Green trailhead. It's probably about half a mile from the parking lot to the warbler location.
