Kudos to Phillip Casteel for the heads up on the Swainson's Warbler!!! Steve
and I went over there after the Wednesday morning Radnor walk and a bite of
lunch and found the Swainson's Warbler at about 2:30 pm right in the spot
Phillip described. Darn if I didn't have my camera as the bird was quite
visible for nearly 30 minutes. He was indeed fun to find and even more
exciting to watch as he foraged, chipped and sang from various perches.
Steve had only ever seen a Swainson's Warbler one other time and this bird was
a lifer for me. Indeed a great way to end a day!
Until next time,
Happy birding...
Steve and Cyndi Routledge
