I made a very brief run this afternoon to check out the lake levels at Pace Point. Levels still need to drop a little to expose much shorebird habitat at the Point. The only shorebird other than Killdeer was a Buff-breasted Sandpiper that made a brief appearance at the edge of the grass on the island. There were several gulls and terns resting on Pace Point. Among the 80 or so Ring-billed's, 6 Caspian, and 5 Forster's Terns was a nice juvenile Laughing Gull, which I got some good comparison pix of with the Ringers. Good birding!!!!!!
