Dale and Jeannie Swant discovered an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull
at Woods Reservoir, near Winchester TN, yesterday afternoon, Sunday
Nov. 25.
The bird, an adult in winter plumage, was later seen around 2:00 pm
by five other birders, including myself. The best vantage point for
observing this bird was at the boat launch area of Morris Ferry.
For quite a while the bird sat very amicably on one of the buoys near
the shore.
