Radnor Lake
Davidson Co.
This morning, Richard Connors and I walked all the way around Radnor Lake.
Along the Lake Trail, we had our first of season Blue-gray Gnatcatcher and L.
Waterthrush. The waterthrush was at Long Bridge where we also had a Winter
Wren. Ducks still remain on the lake, but newcomers included a pair of
Green-winged Teal and one female Red-breasted Merganser. Several Wood Duck and
Canada
Goose pairs are spread out around the edges. Yellow-rumped Warblers are
beginning to sing, and we had a few Cedar Waxwings.
