Ensley, President's Island
Shelby Co. TN
An hour spent looking in every pool at the "pits" produced no W-f Ibis, 22
B-b Whistlers and almost no shorebirds. It was a lonely place. The White
Pelican on TVA has been joined by 5 Least Terns, looks like the terns will
have another bad nesting year. Neither of the Anhinga were seen today. They
all may still be around but these strong winds out of the south sure make
for fine northward traveling.
On President's Island, both Scissor-tails were seen along with quite a few
Western Kingbirds but I did not see the hybrid nor the W-w Doves.
