[TIPSdiscussion] Info: 147.505 Repeater

The 147.505 repeater is being repaired due to no power output from the 
transmitter.  This is expected to take less than 1 week.  
 
TIPS Net, WX nets, etc. will be held on the back up repeater.
 
444.500 DCS 073
 
If you have an old radio that can't run DCS, you may use a 77.0 encode only 
CTCSS.
 
The 444.500 will be linked in to the New England Reflector, channel 3 for the 
TIPS Net.
 
If the 505 is not back online by next Sunday, the 444.500 will be linked into 
the ARES (SEC) Net.
 
The Wednesday night SPARC net will be on 444.500 and linked to 147.505 
(simplex) via the remote base to announce to potential check ins to come over 
to UHF.
