Kevin,

A polite request.

Please don't speak for me. I am a big boy and can speak for myself. We help
many blind people to use open source applications and have no objection
whatever to them.

By now, hopefully, you will have seen my response describing how Thunder can
tell you the number of emails.

Sadly, we don't have a team of people working on scripts. Thunder does read
the status lines in Outlook, OE and Windows Mail.

I have had a more than brief look at Windows Live and it does need a bit of
work and understanding. It is on our list.

We don't do Thunderbird but NVDA does it very well and they are funded by
the Foundation so I don't see the need to duplicate.

Hope this helps.

Roger.

Can You tell us what e-mail program you are using?

I use Thunderbird and I wish the good folks at the scripting end of
thunder would script for this program but we have been down this road
before they don't want to be seen to support open source software.

Alistair are you still monitoring this list? if so have you done any
more about putting an e-mail client into webbie?

If not you have an open source e-mail program that is free and just
needs a bit of scripting. I think if I remember thunder does read the
status in outlook but maybe not in oe or maybe not in window's live mail
I have not tested does thunder even support window's live mail?
