OK We run WinNT 4.0 and Citrix XPe FR1. And the feature isn't there so I guess its either a Win2k or FR2 feature. There is a tab labeled REBOOT SCHEDULE. adam =20 Michael Boggan <MBoggan@vdimai To: "'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx'" <thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> =20 l.com> cc: Sent by: Subject: [THIN] Re: scheduling reboots =20 thin-bounce@fre elists.org =20 =20 12/24/2002 09:06 AM Please respond to thin =20 =20 OK what autoreboot feature in the CMC. I haven't seen this. IS this something only on Win2k boxes? If not, where can I find it? thanks, -------------------------------------------- Michael Boggan, Network Eng/Citrix Admin Virtual Desktop Inc. Dallas, Tx ph. (972) 960.6400 f. Typically the clean-up is in removing un-needed, temp files, unloaded profiles, and most everything from the spool directory.=3D20 You don't need to go the extra mile that some people do in their reboot scripts. It just depends on your situation.=3D20 As a stand alone feature, the auto-reboot for XPe works fine. I've seen a lot of posts regarding batch scripting to achieve this. Why use a batch script instead of using the CMC control tab? I am not worried too much about interupting work as the reboot tab has the ability to send out reminder msgs before rebooting. We are taking the stance that if they don't logoff, their problem, not ours. My config is: W2k SP2 XPe FR2. adam ***********************************************=3D20 This Weeks Sponsor: 99point9.com The 99Point9.com Online Tech Support=3D20 Helpdesk is the one-stop solution for all=3D20 your server-based computing needs.=3D20 http://www.99point9.com ************************************************ For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=3D20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm *********************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: 99point9.com The 99Point9.com Online Tech Support Helpdesk is the one-stop solution for all your server-based computing needs. http://www.99point9.com ************************************************ For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm *********************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: 99point9.com The 99Point9.com Online Tech Support Helpdesk is the one-stop solution for all your server-based computing needs. http://www.99point9.com ************************************************ For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm ***********************************************=20 This Weeks Sponsor: 99point9.com The 99Point9.com Online Tech Support=20 Helpdesk is the one-stop solution for all=20 your server-based computing needs.=20 http://www.99point9.com ************************************************ For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm *********************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: 99point9.com The 99Point9.com Online Tech Support Helpdesk is the one-stop solution for all your server-based computing needs. http://www.99point9.com ************************************************ For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm *********************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: 99point9.com The 99Point9.com Online Tech Support Helpdesk is the one-stop solution for all your server-based computing needs. http://www.99point9.com ************************************************ For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm
