I agree about Trend Micro. I've never had my exchange server get =
infected (in the 4 years that I've been here). I also run ServerProtect =
on all servers and Officescan on all workstations. They always seem to =
be ahead of the game.=20

We have avoided every new email virus variant for the last 4 years on =
our
Exchange server because we use Trend Micro Scanmail with Emanager and =
block
all attachment types but doc, xls and ppt with it. It isn't rocket =
science.
We bought Trend after the ILoveYou was released. The only viruses we got =
hit
from since then was Nimda and that was because someone used a internet =
email
program internally instead of Outlook and opened an attachment and it =
saved
the eml file on their network drive and it nimda had the ability to jump
across our network shares to infect our workstations. We stopped that =
pretty
quickly by ordering a complete shutdown of all systems, cleaned or =
servers
one by one and then stuck the cleanup batch file in ours users profile =
so
it ran the next time they booted up. Even then our Exchange server =
never
got infected.
