Will see how goes.. I also modified my advanced Load Evaluator just in case the rules were not flexible enough..
Thanks for your replies Ang

I was getting this error a couple times a week (we have PNA). I immediately thought it was XML issues. If you go to your web interface and try to launch the app there (when the error is occurring) you will get garbage in the ICA file. I did all the usual, change the XML servers that PNAgent is using, reboot XML server, etc., thinking it was XML. It would go away for a couple days, maybe a week, but would come back. Research uncovered where that it may actually be tied to load evaluators. If you want what I found, I will have to research it all again. It was very difficult to find something to begin with. anyway, we quit using the default and advanced evaluators and created a single evaluator that only uses server user load. we applied that to our servers and have yet to have the issue happen again. This is still a fairly new solution for us, so I can't so 100% that the issue has gone away but it has been over 3 weeks with no issue. This is by far the longest we have gone without it. the weird thing is that it just started happening one day out of the blue. I think it's because we had just added a new app to the farm so the user load went up a smudge. I still am not clear on what happened. pw "Joe Shonk" <joe.shonk@xxxxxxxxx> Sent by: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx 01/16/2007 02:55 PM Please respond to thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To <thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> cc Subject [THIN] Re: Users cannot launch applications - Resource Unavailable Well, session sharing and load-evaluators don't work quite that way. As Jeremy stated before, the most likely culprit is the XML service that your Web Interface is pointing to (remember PNA has a backend component that uses Web Interface components) Joe -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Angela Smith Sent: Tuesday, January 16, 2007 12:12 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Users cannot launch applications - Resource Unavailable Hi Interesting point. I was however under the impression that session sharing will allow all subsequent applications to run from the same server (as the first app) until the load evaluators think the server is full. Once the server is designated as being fully loaded based on the rules, shouldn't the application then launch from any other server in the farm? I didn't think the application would simply fail as there may be other servers in the farm not fully loaded. I would be extremely surprised if all my servers in the farm were fully loaded at the time of the error..
