I use Vmware ThinApp to "stream" IE6
Works nicely, HOWEVER you do need to realize that Microsoft doesn't
support multiple versions of IE on 1 box:

If you want I can send you a link to the IE6 .exe my colleague made with
ThinApp 4.6 so you can test if it works for you
After that you could make your own ThinApp-ed IE
