It is not just the IPAD but it is PNagent does not work either.
My install was brand new and I needed a VPX that supported ESX that is why I 
wanted to use CAG 5

Be honest, are you going to Deploy a new .0 product days after release with no 
internal test first?   It doesn't matter how stable the product is, most people 
wouldn't even think about it.  Most organizations have processes and procedures 
for updates and upgrades, especially major revisions, which have to be met 
first.  Companies such as Citrix are expecting this to case.  YOU are their QA 
department.

As far iPad and AG 5.0, there are two pieces to this.  The AG5.0 component and 
to be released CR 4.2 for iOS4.2.  The release cycle, approval, etc for the 
iPad is different than that of AG.  In addition, the iPad app has an additional 
requirement in that it has to go through Apple for approval and distribution.

As an admin who deals with a lot of software products I'm going to have to rant 
with Jim on this: I have to agree the quality of software that comes out as a 
'final' release from some companies (Citrix may or may not be on that list) 
leaves a bit to be desired.

The line of 'it was just released so it shouldn't go into production' is at 
least partially an excuse for the lack of QA and product management from some 
of these large software companies.  Yes all environments are different and they 
can't catch all the bugs, but also a lot of environments are the same and there 
are some serious bugs often with major releases that makes me wonder how they 
could even release something like that.

I understand that there has to be a balance between getting the features out 
and having a stable release but it seems that some companies are drifting more 
towards a 'get the crap out the door and fix it later mentality.'  Also don't 
forget the fact that it's easy to spend less on QA and use the earlier adopters 
to find your bugs for you.  Cost externalization.

If I shouldn't deploy 5.0 is 5.1 going to be the more stable release?  Maybe, 
maybe not.  5.2?  Do I have to read through the release notes in the hopes of 
ascertaining this?

Blurring the lines of which release is stable and which isn't only makes life 
more difficult for the people responsible for maintaining that software.

To be fair, not all of Citrix products can be released at the same time. I'm 
sure the iPad will work with AG 5 once the Citrix Receiver 4.2 is released.

Also, the 5.0 VPX was just released so people shouldn't be putting into a 
production environment just yet.

You know it never ceases to amaze me with these companies nowadays. It isn't 
just Citrix.

Put out a new product but take away key features that people have been using 
that they really need. (you know like actually working at all)

The fact that it is Citrix's own products not working together is a real shame. 
 I know software changes can break things but ...basic connectivity? What 
happened to quality control?

Backwards compatibility is a necessity in this day and age and I am really 
getting tired of companies forcing upgrades for the sake of adding just plain 
functionality because they have a new client or OS that has a few more bells 
and whistles. If you upgrade one component it breaks functionality and you end 
up upgrading or having to update 3 more.
And then try and find where it is buried in the documentation where it tells 
you to do that is another story. It is madness.

Web Interface works with Windows but MACs are getting a ssl error so I am going 
to try and redo the certs.

So the second one points to Certificate issues.  If we go that route, I am 
assuming since your CAG is working with WI that it has the certificate 
installed. Have you assured that the client device you are trying to connect 
with has the cert on it?
If it is not google the keywords: install wi certificate on CAG

For mobile android clients I had to use Firefox and save the certificate from 
the site as a crt file and then I texted it to the devices so they could click 
on it and install it.

So you already have created a separate new service site for the PNAgent in the 
Access Managmenent console?  If not you must create the PNagent service.

What version of WI is it?  Scott McDonalds tip here in this thread got 
connectivity to my WI PNagent up and working by just adding the 2 lines to my
